Remedial Massage Therapy

Remedial massage is a targeted, hands-on treatment that focuses on muscles, fascia, movement and areas of tension rather than simply providing relaxation.
In my approach, remedial massage combines massage techniques with physiotherapy knowledge and manual therapy principles. I look at the body as a whole, considering how different areas may influence each other, rather than focusing only on the location of discomfort.
Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is an important part of my treatment approach. I may incorporate a range of hands-on and movement-based techniques alongside massage, depending on your individual needs.
These may include stretching, joint mobilisation, movement techniques, breathing techniques and other manual therapy approaches.
The aim is to complement the massage treatment, address areas of tension and restriction, and support better movement and mobility.
Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique that uses fine, sterile needles to target selected areas of muscular tension.
In my approach, dry needling may be incorporated into a remedial massage/manual therapy session when appropriate. It is used alongside hands-on techniques to complement treatment and support muscle relaxation, movement and mobility.
Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique that uses specially designed cups to create suction on the skin.
I may incorporate cupping into a remedial massage/manual therapy session to complement hands-on treatment and work with areas of muscular tension and soft-tissue restriction.
The technique is selected according to your individual needs and treatment goals.
Pregnancy massage

Pregnancy massage is a gentle, supportive treatment adapted to the changing needs of women body during pregnancy.
My approach focuses on comfort, relaxation and relieving muscular tension, with positioning and techniques modified according to your stage of pregnancy and individual needs.
Where appropriate, medical clearance may be recommended before treatment.

Deep tissue and sports massage use targeted techniques to work with deeper muscular tension, stiffness and areas affected by physical activity.
My approach is tailored to your body and activity level, combining deeper massage with appropriate stretching, mobilisation and manual therapy techniques where suitable.
The goal is to support muscle recovery, mobility and healthy movement, rather than simply applying strong pressure.
